Georges Jouve (1910 - 1964)

Georges Jouve was a visionary French ceramist known for his elegant, playful and modern forms. Trained in sculpture and design, he turned to ceramics during WWII and developed a distinctive style blending tradition, abstraction and architectural purity. He collaborated with major designers and galleries, contributing to the revival of French decorative arts. His work remains highly sought-after and influential today.
